Learning Disability Friendly Practice

Over the Past 6 months, staff at the Forrest Medical Centre have worked extremely hard on improving the experience our patients with Learning Disabilities and their carers have with us. We have implemented a Quiet Zone, added a video giving a tour of our practice and we have massively improved our uptake on Learning Disability Annual Health Checks.

We applied for the Learning Disability Friendly Badge and on 30th March 2026 I am happy to announce we have achieved this and are now accredited as a Learning Disability Friendly Practice!
